Membership dues
Approved at the November chapter meeting.
Chapter dues, assessments, per capita, and EAF. Preferably by December 13 at the Chapter Meeting.
Dues not paid by January 1 are considered inactive.
Payments received after February 1 are subject to a 10% late fine.
An active member of Rho Chi Omega Chapter shall satisfy all dues and assessments (including Regional Conference Assessment*) before per capita payment is made on her behalf for a new membership year. All dues and assessments are due to the Corporate Office by January 1.
To meet this deadline, all chapter dues, chapter assessments, per capita, and Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) tax are due to the chapter by December 20 (preferably by December 13 at the Chapter Meeting). If dues, assessments, and per capita are not paid by January 1, sorors will be considered inactive with both the corporate office and the chapter. All monies received after February 1 are subject to a 10% fine. All dues and assessments are non-refundable. The per capita for individual sorors will not be remitted to the Corporate Office until after all assessments, fees and dues have been collected.
Exceptions: Sorors reactivating in Rho Chi Omega will not incur the 10% fine on per capita, chapter dues, and chapter assessments. Sorors transferring in Rho Chi Omega will incur the 10% fine on per capita after February 1 if not already paid for the year.
*Sorors that were active in Rho Chi Omega in 2022 and have not paid the SERC Assessment, must pay the assessment in order to reactivate or transfer.
